    Executive Leadership Workshop

    2014 Executive Leadership Workshop

    Program Dates: 2014 Spring Break
Mon., March 3 through Fri., March 7, 2014

The Executive Leadership Workshop is an intensive one-week immersion in understanding what business is: how to start a business, take it to the next level, and be an effective leader. Students get real-life business experience through business simulations, case studies, team projects and presentations. Taking place over spring break, the rigorous program — conducted entirely by Holy Cross alumni executives from various fields — is available to up to 35 students on an application-acceptance basis, and is free of charge.

The workshop is designed for any student contemplating a career in business, but who may be unsure if it’s the right choice. Working directly with successful corporate executives, the workshop is an ideal way to learn first-hand about business career possibilities.

The Executive Leadership Workshop offers many benefits, including:

    • Demystifies the business world and professions.
    • Improves business literacy and job search confidence.
    • Provides training in general business skills: reading financial statements, cost analysis, business plan development, presentation skills, team work, goal setting, and professional etiquette.
    • Exposes students to the intellectual, emotional, and moral qualities of successful business leadership.

An intensive one-week immersion in understanding what business is: how to start a business, take it to the next level, and be an effective leader.
